Super Monkey Ball Jr. (E) is a stripped-down but still fun GBA version of the classic arcade maze game. You tilt platforms to roll your monkey in a ball toward the goal, trying not to fall off edges or get stuck on obstacles. The controls take some getting used to since the GBA doesn't have motion sensors, but after a few levels, you start nudging the ball with just the right pressure.

The early stages feel simple, almost too easy, but then the angles get sharper and the paths narrower. I remember one level where the floor had gaps just wide enough to slip through if you weren't careful. Took me three tries before I stopped overcorrecting and just rolled straight through.

Bananas are scattered around as collectibles, but grabbing them often means taking risky detours. Super Monkey Ball Jr. (E) keeps that balance of risk and reward from the bigger console versions, even if the graphics are understandably simpler. It's a solid portable version for when you want that same tense, precision-based gameplay.
