Super Off-Road (EU) is a top-down racing game where you control these chunky little trucks on dirt tracks that kick up dust like crazy. The first race feels chaotic—you're bouncing off walls, spinning out, and scraping for cash to upgrade your truck before the next event.
What's cool is how the trucks handle. They slide around corners in this exaggerated way, and you can feel the weight shift when you hit a jump. The tracks get pretty wild too, with tight loops and sudden drops that make you wrestle with the controls.
But the upgrades are where it gets interesting. You start with this sluggish truck that barely turns, and by mid-game, you're tweaking tires and engines to shave seconds off your lap times. The AI isn't brilliant—sometimes they just pile up in corners—but the races stay tense because one bad turn can wreck your lead.
