Game Overview
Super Xevious (VS) is a classic NES shooter that feels like a slightly tweaked version of the original. You're still piloting that same ship through waves of enemies, dodging fire while trying to hit ground targets and air units at the same time. The controls are tight, but the difficulty spikes hard after the first few levels.
What stands out is how methodical it feels—you can't just spray bullets everywhere. You have to switch between air and ground attacks, which keeps you constantly adjusting your aim. The screen gets crowded fast, and those tiny enemy shots blend into the background more than they should.
It's not a huge leap from the original Xevious, but if you liked that one, Super Xevious (VS) gives you more of the same with a few extra wrinkles.
