Superfrog_Disk0 is one of those classic Amiga platformers that just oozes charm. You play as this little frog who’s been turned into a superhero (don’t ask, just roll with it), bouncing around colorful levels collecting coins and dodging weirdly aggressive garden gnomes. The controls are tight, the music’s catchy, and the levels have this great mix of speed and precision—some bits feel almost like a proto-Sonic if Sonic were a tiny amphibian with a cape.

First time I played, I got wrecked by a giant bee within minutes, but once you get the hang of the floaty jumps, it’s weirdly satisfying to chain moves together. Also, the power-ups are ridiculous in the best way—like, one second you’re hopping normally, the next you’re zipping around on roller skates. Pure 90s energy.

If you’ve got an Amiga emulator or the original hardware, it’s still a blast to pick up for a quick session. Just watch out for those bees.
