Superfrog came out in 1993 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Team17. It was a time when platformers were everywhere, and this one fit right in with its bright, cartoonish style and straightforward premise.

You control a frog who has been transformed by a witch, and your goal is to rescue a princess by collecting fairies scattered across numerous levels. The gameplay involves running and jumping through themed worlds, avoiding enemies and obstacles, while gathering coins and power-ups like speed boosts and invincibility. The levels are linear but packed with secrets and alternate routes, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly in later stages. It feels frantic and a bit unpredictable, but landing a long jump or finding a hidden bonus area is always satisfying.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
