Play T&C 2 - Thrilla's Surfari Online
One minute you're surfing, then suddenly you're breakdancing with a kangaroo—this NES gem throws wild curveballs while you fumble through skate tricks and chaotic skydives as a bumbling gorilla.

I first played T&C 2: Thrilla's Surfari on the NES back in 1992, a game developed by Software Creations. It came out late in the console's life, a time when developers were still finding new ways to push the hardware, often with quirky ideas that didn't always land. This one was definitely ambitious, trying to blend several different sports into one package.
You control Thrilla, a gorilla, across a series of events like surfing, skateboarding, and skydiving. The main goal is to complete each stage by meeting certain score or time requirements. The gameplay shifts dramatically between events; one moment you're navigating waves and performing tricks on a surfboard, the next you're trying to land skateboard flips on a half-pipe. The controls can be slippery, and the difficulty spikes without much warning, especially in the later stages. It feels like a chaotic, unpredictable mash-up of mini-games that never quite finds a consistent rhythm.
