Taz in Escape from Mars is exactly what it sounds like—a whirlwind of chaos where you play as Taz (yes, that Taz) after he gets kidnapped by Martians who clearly didn’t think this through. Within minutes, you’re spinning through floating platforms, chomping on alien robots, and generally causing the kind of destruction only a cartoon tornado could.
The levels are weird in the best way—one minute you’re bouncing on giant mushrooms, the next you’re dodging laser beams from UFOs. The controls take a second to get used to (Taz doesn’t exactly stop on a dime), but once you lean into the chaos, it’s a blast. And the Martian gadgets? Somehow even crazier than the usual Tazmania shenanigans.
If you grew up with Sega Genesis platformers, this one’s got that same loud, colorful energy—just with more aliens and way more spinning. You’ll either love it or rage-quit by level 3. No in-between.
