Play Texas Hold 'Em Poker (U)(Rising Sun) Online

Sliding chips across a tiny GBA screen, bluffing against surprisingly sharp AI—this is stripped-down poker that somehow hooks you. The lack of flash just makes those all-in moments hit harder.

Game Overview

Texas Hold 'Em Poker on the GBA is exactly what it sounds like—no frills, just straight-up poker. It came out in 2004, right before Majesco ported it to the DS, so it’s got that classic handheld feel. The graphics are basic, but honestly, that’s kind of the charm. You’re not here for flashy animations, just quick hands and bluffing against AI opponents who actually put up a decent fight.

First few rounds feel a little stiff—like any poker sim—but once you get into the rhythm, it’s weirdly addictive. The betting mechanics are simple, no confusing extras, just raise, fold, or go all-in. I wish there were more customization options, but for a portable poker fix? It gets the job done. Not bad for a quick round between bus stops.
