I picked up The Cat in the Hat for the Game Boy Advance back in 2004, a game published by Vivendi Universal Games. It was one of those licensed platformers that felt typical for the era, built around a popular children's property. You control the Cat in the Hat, moving through the house screen by screen, bouncing on unstable furniture and avoiding obstacles left by Thing 1 and Thing 2. The main goal is to clean up the mess they've made while collecting items and solving simple environmental puzzles. The platforming feels a bit slippery, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly in later stages.
