I picked up The Scorpion King: Sword of Osiris for the Game Boy Advance back in 2002, a time when licensed action games were everywhere. It was published by Universal Interactive, and it felt like a solid attempt to capture that classic side-scrolling adventure vibe on the handheld.

You control the Scorpion King himself, Mathayus, through a series of interconnected levels, clearing screen by screen of enemies and obstacles. Your main goal is to recover the pieces of the Sword of Osiris, which involves a lot of straightforward sword combat, some basic platforming, and using a bow for distant targets. The pacing is brisk, though some sections, especially the platforming over pits, can feel a bit unforgiving. It's a simple, sometimes repetitive, but satisfying hack and slash that makes good use of the hardware.
