I picked up The Simpsons Road Rage for the Game Boy Advance back in 2001, a portable version of the console game developed by Altron and published by THQ. You control various characters from the show, driving around Springfield to pick up passengers and drop them off at their destinations. The main objective is to earn enough money within a time limit to stop Mr. Burns from taking over the town's transit system. Key mechanics include navigating through familiar streets, avoiding obstacles like other cars and pedestrians, and sometimes dealing with character specific car abilities. The pacing is frantic, with constant time pressure and occasional aggressive AI drivers making some fares tricky.
