Oh man, Thexder—this one’s a weird little gem. You’re controlling this clunky robot that can suddenly transform into a jet, which sounds awesome until you realize how fast everything goes wrong. The auto-aim laser is a lifesaver, but it drains energy fast, so you’re constantly weighing whether to blast everything or play it safe and wait for a recharge.

And that shield? Yeah, it’ll save you from a nasty hit, but it chips away at your health to do it. The levels start simple, but before long, you’re dodging bullets, flipping forms mid-air, and praying your energy meter holds out. It’s got that classic ‘80s Japanese shooter vibe—tough but weirdly satisfying when you finally nail a level.
