Game Overview
I remember playing Three Stooges on the Amiga back in 1987. It was published by Cinemaware, who were known for these cinematic, almost interactive movie style games at the time. The Amiga was perfect for it, with better graphics and sound than a lot of other systems, and this game really tried to capture the feel of the old shorts.
You control one of the Stooges, either Larry, Moe, or Curly, and you move through different scenes based on their classic routines. The main goal is just to cause as much chaos as possible, poking eyes and slapping each other in a series of mini-games. You can switch between characters, which changes up the action, and there are both cooperative and competitive modes depending on whether you're playing with a friend. The pacing is frantic, and it can get pretty difficult to keep up with all the silliness happening on screen. It feels exactly as ridiculous and unpredictable as an actual Three Stooges short.
