Ever wanted to cause absolute mayhem like the Three Stooges? This NES game nails their chaotic energy—you play as Larry, Moe, and Curly (or Shemp, if you prefer the underdog) in a mix of mini-games, platforming, and pure slapstick nonsense. One minute you're dodging pies, the next you're smacking each other with hammers trying to rescue some poor kidnapped girl from a cartoonishly evil banker.
The real charm is how it feels like playing through an old Stooges short. The soundbites, the exaggerated animations, even the way Curly flails when he gets hit—it’s all there. Some of the mini-games are surprisingly tough (good luck with that hospital bed puzzle), but half the fun is failing spectacularly. Just don’t blame me when you start yelling "Nyuk nyuk nyuk!" at your TV.
It’s not the deepest NES game, but if you ever wanted to live out your dumbest slapstick fantasies, this is the closest you’ll get.
