Timekeepers is this weird little Amiga gem that feels like someone mashed up Lemmings with early RTS vibes. You're commanding these time-traveling cops trying to stop bombs across history—from caveman days to space stations—but here's the twist: you don't control them directly. Instead, you drop little command icons (arrows, attack symbols, pause clocks) along their path like breadcrumbs, hoping they'll follow your plan before walking into a dinosaur or medieval trap.

The first time I played, I lost half my squad because I didn't realize how stubborn they'd be about ignoring a pit of spikes unless I specifically made them jump. The pixel art changes completely between eras—one minute you're in jungles with choppers overhead, the next you're dodging knights in castles. It's janky in that charming 90s way where the AI sometimes derps out, but figuring out how to shepherd your dumb-but-lovable troopers through 60 levels of temporal chaos is weirdly satisfying. Just don't get attached to any particular timekeeper—that wrench icon won't save them from stepping on a landmine.
