The first few levels ease you in—maybe just guiding them around a pit or two—but soon you’re sweating over switches, enemy patrols, and whether that wrench icon will actually make someone fix the bridge instead of standing there dumbly. The graphics shift completely between time periods, which keeps it from feeling repetitive, and there’s something oddly satisfying about watching your squad finally stumble their way to the exit after three failed attempts.
