Tiny Toon Adventures Cartoon Workshop came out on the NES in 1992, developed and published by Konami. It was part of that wave of licensed games that tried to do something a little different, letting you step behind the scenes of the cartoon world instead of just playing through a standard platformer.

You control Buster Bunny, Plucky Duck, or one of the other main characters, moving them around a stage to interact with props and set pieces. The main goal is to create short, funny cartoons by triggering gags in sequence, which involves picking items from a menu, placing them carefully, and timing character actions. You navigate scene by scene, assembling the cartoon piece by piece, and the challenge comes from figuring out the right order of events to make a coherent, or at least amusing, skit. The controls can feel a bit stiff, and the logic isn't always obvious, but there's a genuine satisfaction in finally getting a sequence to play out just right. It feels like solving a silly, interactive puzzle.
