Play Tokyo Majin Gakuen : Fuju Houroku Online
You pick a Tokyo teen with wild powers—chains, fire, demon swords—then brawl through side-scrolling chaos, leveling up until you’re wiping screens with over-the-top attacks. Moody, goth, and weirdly satisfying.

Tokyo Majin Gakuen: Fuju Houroku is one of those GBA games that slipped under the radar but absolutely shouldn’t have. You start off as this misfit group of Tokyo high schoolers—except they’ve all got weird supernatural abilities, like summoning fire or wielding a sword that eats demons. The first time I played, I picked the guy with the chains because, well, chains are cool, but then I realized the girl with the talismans was way more fun when things got chaotic.
It’s part brawler, part RPG—you’re smashing through waves of creepy monsters in side-scrolling fights, but you also level up and unlock these ridiculous screen-clearing attacks. The vibe’s like if Castlevania and a late-night anime had a moody, goth baby. And that soundtrack? Still stuck in my head years later. If you dig action games with a little extra weirdness, this one’s a blast.
