Play Sonic Advance 2 Online
Sonic’s blasting through even crazier GBA levels this time—you’ll weave through loops at full speed, chase down hidden rings for emerald challenges, and eventually unlock the rest of the crew after proving yourself. That rabbit somehow keeps up.
So, Sonic Advance 2—basically the blue blur’s second round on the GBA, and it’s faster, flashier, and somehow even more chaotic than the first one. Eggman’s up to his usual nonsense, but this time you’ve got backup: Tails, Knuckles, and Cream (that rabbit with the ears who somehow keeps up with Sonic). Problem is, you’ve gotta beat the whole thing as Sonic first before they’ll let you play as anyone else. Kind of annoying, but hey, at least it gives you a reason to replay levels.
The stages are packed with those glowing Special Rings—if you grab one, you’re thrown into this weird half-pipe bonus stage where you’re bouncing around trying to snag a Chaos Emerald. Mess it up, and you’re back to hunting rings in the main level. And yeah, Super Sonic’s still a thing, but good luck collecting all the emeralds without throwing your GBA across the room.
Oh, and if you’ve got a GameCube and a link cable, you can transfer your Chao over to Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. Not sure why you’d want to, but it’s there. Mostly, it’s just classic Sonic speed with a few extra tricks—and way more bottomless pits to accidentally launch yourself into.
