Playing Sonic Advance 2 (Eurasia) (J) feels like a faster, slightly more chaotic version of the first game. The levels are designed to push you forward, with loops and ramps everywhere, but some of the platforming can get frustrating when you miss a jump because Sonic's speed makes precision tricky.
I remember spending way too long trying to find those hidden special rings for the bonus stages. The emerald challenges are fun, but good luck spotting the rings when you're blasting through at full speed. And yeah, you're stuck with Sonic until you beat the game, which feels like an odd choice when the other characters are right there.
It's still a solid GBA Sonic game, just don't expect it to play like the classics. The link cable feature with the GameCube is neat if you have both, though.
