Game Overview
Man, Sonic Advance 2 still feels like one of the best Sonic games on the GBA. The speed is ridiculous—way faster than the first one—and the music slaps so hard you’ll catch yourself humming it hours later. Cream the Rabbit’s a fun addition (her little Chao buddy Cheese is adorable), though I always end up playing as Sonic anyway because that boost feels too good.
Eggman’s up to his usual nonsense, but honestly, you’re mostly just blasting through loops and corkscrews, barely skimming past spikes while the screen struggles to keep up. Some of the later levels get brutal, but that first zone? Pure momentum bliss. The GBA could barely handle how fast this game moves.
