Play Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 Online
You pick Tony or another skater, nail kickflips and grinds in tight isometric levels, then blow your cash on better gear to pull off longer combos—somehow the GBA makes bailing just as frustrating as the console version.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 on GBA somehow makes skateboarding feel great even in 2D. The isometric view takes a second to get used to, but once you start pulling off kickflips and grinds, it clicks—it’s still the same chaotic, trick-heavy gameplay from the console version, just squished down.
You pick a skater (I always go with Tony, obviously) and hit career mode, where you’re chasing high scores, hunting for hidden tapes, and trying not to bail mid-combo. The levels are condensed but recognizable—even the warehouse from the first game sneaks in. Landing a perfect run feels just as satisfying here as it did on PlayStation.
Between sessions, you’ll spend cash on better boards or stat upgrades, which actually makes a difference when you’re trying to chain tricks. And if you just want to mess around, free skate mode lets you explore without the pressure. It’s impressive how much of the original’s energy they packed into a tiny cartridge.
