Traders on the Amiga is one of those games that looks simple at first—just buy low, sell high, right? But then you realize there’s a whole economy at play, with prices shifting based on supply and demand. You start in a tiny ship with barely any credits, hauling basic goods between planets, and before long, you’re debating whether to risk your entire cargo on a speculative trade or play it safe.

The interface is pure Amiga charm—bright colors, chunky buttons, and that satisfying click when you confirm a deal. I remember getting stuck early on because I didn’t realize some planets pay way more for certain goods, so my first few runs barely broke even. Once you get the hang of it, though, there’s something weirdly addictive about watching your bank balance grow while outmaneuvering rival traders.

It’s not flashy, but it’s the kind of game that hooks you for hours without you noticing.
