Play Tringo Online

Game Overview

Tringo came out in 2005 for the Game Boy Advance, developed by Kinja. It was a clever little puzzle game that fit right in with the kind of quick, pick-up-and-play titles that thrived on the handheld. You didn't hear a ton about it, but if you found it, it stuck with you.

You control a cursor to pick up and place numbered tiles on a five-by-five grid. The main goal is to complete lines, like in bingo, but the tiles fall Tetris-style from the top of the screen, forcing you to work quickly. You have to manage the incoming pieces while also scanning your grid for potential horizontal, vertical, or diagonal matches. The pacing is fast and the difficulty ramps up steadily, making each completed line feel like a genuine relief. It creates a satisfying loop of frantic placement and sudden, quiet triumph.
