Play Trolls on Treasure Island Online

So Trolls on Treasure Island is this weird little NES puzzle game where you play as one of two troll twins (Samantha or Norbert) who stumble onto an island full of treasure. The setup's charmingly random—they were just windsurfing when grandpa's old treasure story suddenly became relevant.

Gameplay's simple but tricky: you bounce around collecting jewels, but you've gotta match colors. Hit a paint can to change your troll's hair color, then grab the matching gems before enemies or the timer get you. It's got that same bounce mechanic as Dudes with Attitude if you've played that. First few levels ease you in, but by level 5 you're frantically bouncing between paint cans while avoiding these little crab things.

There are 32 levels total, plus a level editor if you want to make your own nightmare puzzles. Fair warning though—it's an unlicensed cart, so the physics feel slightly off in that distinct '90s bootleg way. Once you get used to the floaty jumps though, it's weirdly addictive.
