Trollz: Hair Affair is one of those weirdly addictive GBA games I stumbled onto years ago—way more fun than I expected. You pick your troll (I always went for Topaz because, let’s be real, purple hair wins), and suddenly you’re deep in this world of glitter, friendship drama, and timed hair-styling battles. The mini-games are surprisingly varied—one minute you’re racing to curl hair before the clock runs out, the next you’re hunting for hidden accessories in a mall.
It’s got that early 2000s Bratz-meets-Tamagotchi vibe, but with way more personality. The strategy sneaks up on you, too—matching accessories to your troll’s mood actually matters, and some of those later styling challenges get legitimately tense. Not gonna lie, the dialogue is cheesy as heck, but that’s part of the charm. If you’ve got a soft spot for forgotten GBA oddballs, this one’s a riot.
