Twin Eagle: Revenge Joe's Brother came out for the NES in 1989, developed and published by Seta Corporation. You pilot a helicopter through side scrolling and overhead stages, destroying enemy vehicles, tanks, and aircraft. Your main goal is to clear each area of hostiles and defeat the boss at the end. The helicopter can move in eight directions and has a standard machine gun, but you also collect power ups for spread shots and screen clearing bombs. The pacing is fast, with enemies swarming from all sides, and the difficulty can be punishing if you lose your upgrades. It feels like a relentless, satisfying scramble to survive each wave.
