Play TwinBee 3 - Poko Poko Dai Maou (Japan) (Beta) Online
Dodge past goofy enemies while you and a buddy fight over floating power-up bells—it’s chaotic, colorful, and somehow has RPG elements tucked in there. That beta jank just makes it more charming.

Game Overview
Man, TwinBee 3 is one of those NES games that makes you wonder why it never left Japan. It’s got that classic Konami charm—bright colors, goofy little enemies, and those floating bells you’ve gotta shoot to power up your ship. The beta version feels a bit rough around the edges, but that just adds to its weird appeal.
At first it plays like a standard shoot-'em-up, but then you notice the RPG-ish touches—different stages with actual bosses, power-ups that change how your ship handles. The co-op mode is where it really shines, though. My friend and I kept stealing each other’s bells mid-air like idiots, laughing the whole time.
The music’s pure 8-bit cheeriness, and the whole thing has this playful energy most shooters lack. Definitely worth digging up if you’ve got a soft spot for forgotten NES gems. Just don’t blame me when you start humming the stage 1 theme for days.
