Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2 on GBA is basically the first game but cranked up—bigger world, wilder mechanics. You still run around as Ty, boomerangs in hand, but now there are these weirdly fun driving sections and mech fights that feel totally out of left field (in a good way).
Boss Cass is back being a nuisance, of course, and the whole Australian outback vibe is still charming as ever. The controls take a second to get used to if you’re coming straight from the first game, but once you adjust, it’s a solid upgrade. The mech stuff especially feels like a weird experiment that somehow works.
If you liked the original, this one’s worth the time—just don’t expect it to reinvent the wheel.
