Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue on GBA is basically the first game but bigger, louder, and with way more boomerangs. You still play as Ty—that spunky, boomerang-chucking Tasmanian tiger—but now he’s part of a rescue squad, which means you’re not just hopping around collecting stuff. You’re flying choppers, speeding through rivers, and occasionally freezing enemies solid with an ice boomerang (which, honestly, never gets old).
The world feels more open this time, with missions popping up as you explore. One minute you’re chasing down rogue robots, the next you’re racing against some smug kangaroo in a speedboat. The controls are tighter than the first game, and the humor’s still full of that goofy Aussie charm—expect a lot of “crikey” and “mate” thrown around.
If you liked the original or just want a solid GBA platformer with some vehicle chaos mixed in, this one’s a blast. Just watch out for Boss Cass—guy’s still a total pain.
