Game Overview

Typhoon on the Amiga is one of those shooters that hooks you fast—you're piloting a little spaceship through waves of aliens, dodging bullets and grabbing power-ups before they vanish. The levels switch up constantly—one minute you're weaving through asteroids, the next you're skimming over a neon city, trying not to crash into those awful spinning plates (they don't die, they just ruin your day).

At the start of each stage, you pick a bonus symbol—extra life, better guns, or a shield—but they don’t last forever, so you’ve gotta make it count. And whatever you do, don’t shoot the skulls. Just… don’t. The high score counter taunts you the whole time, showing exactly how many points you’re short of moving up the ranks. It’s brutal, but in that satisfying "one more try" way.
