Universe Disk5 came out for the Amiga in 1985, a time when the platform was just starting to show what it could do. You pilot a small ship through a vast, procedurally generated galaxy, navigating asteroid fields and engaging alien fighters. Your main goal is to survive, explore different sectors, and upgrade your ship's weapons and shields by collecting resources or defeating enemies. The screen scrolls freely, and combat is fast and demanding; one wrong move can end your run. It feels tense and open, like you're really charting unknown space with limited safety nets.
