You play as Boris Verne, just some unlucky guy who got zapped into a weird parallel universe thanks to his uncle’s sketchy "Virtual Dimension Inducer." Now you’re stuck trying to track down a mythical lost star while figuring out how to take down the Golden King—who sounds like a real piece of work.
It’s a classic point-and-click adventure with that unmistakable Amiga charm. The rotoscoped animations give the characters this smooth, almost dreamy look, and the 256-color graphics still hold up surprisingly well. You’ll poke around strange landscapes, talk to even stranger people, and probably get stuck on at least one puzzle that makes you stare at the screen for way too long.
Definitely one of those games where you’ll want to take notes—or at least remember where you left that weird glowing rock.
