Game Overview

Utopia is like SimCity but with lasers and aliens—because apparently, the future isn’t stressful enough. You’re in charge of a colony on some backwater planet, trying to keep people happy while juggling power grids, housing, and the occasional solar eclipse that knocks out your energy supply. Just when you think you’ve got things under control, hostile aliens show up to ruin your carefully balanced utopia.

At first, it’s all about zoning and research, but soon you’re scrambling to build tanks and spaceships because diplomacy wasn’t an option. The aliens don’t care about your Quality of Life rating—they just want to blow everything up. You’ll spend half your time playing mayor, the other half playing general, and all of it wondering why your colonists complain about entertainment when there’s literally an alien warship overhead.

It’s one of those games where everything’s fine until it very much isn’t, and that’s when the real fun starts. You’ll know you’ve won when your colony hits 80% happiness, but good luck getting there without a few explosions along the way.
