Utopia is like SimCity but with lasers and aliens—because apparently future space colonies don’t just need housing and power grids, they also need tanks. You start off balancing the basics: oxygen, food, jobs, and somehow convincing people that living in a metal dome on a hostile planet is a great life choice. Then the aliens show up.

At first, I thought I could just ignore the military stuff and focus on making everyone happy. Big mistake. A solar eclipse knocked out my power, riots broke out, and then the aliens rolled in with what looked like giant mechanical spiders. Turns out you can’t have utopia without a few missile silos.

The real challenge is hitting that sweet 80% quality of life rating—which means keeping people fed, entertained, and not vaporized. It’s a weirdly satisfying mix of city planning and wartime strategy, with just enough chaos to keep you on your toes.
