So Valhalla and the Lord of Infinity is this weirdly charming Amiga adventure where you play as the rightful heir to a kingdom that’s been taken over by some shady "Lords of Infinity." Basically, you’re cleaning up their mess while trying to reclaim your throne—classic fantasy stuff, but with a twist.
The controls are all icon-based, which feels a little clunky at first until you realize you just walk up to stuff, hit fire, and then pick from options like "look" or "use." The real standout? The nonstop speech. Your guy will not shut up—every action gets a voiced response, from "I can’t pick that up" to dramatic sighs when you try something dumb. It’s equal parts hilarious and kind of impressive for the era, since each level’s dialogue fits on a single disk with no swapping.
Watch out for hidden floor traps, though. The maps help, but I still fell into a hole like three times before I learned to tread carefully. It’s janky, but in that way where you can’t help but love it.
