You start off in this moody Norse-inspired setting, picking between warriors and mages—I went with a berserker because, well, axes. The pixel art’s got that chunky, colorful Amiga charm, and the combat’s turn-based but faster than you’d expect.
What’s wild is how much stuff gets crammed onto a single disk. There are these cryptic puzzles, random encounters that actually make you think, and dialogue that’s way more dramatic than most games from that era. Took me a few tries to get the hang of the magic system, but once you do, it’s satisfying to watch spells actually change the battlefield.
