When Two Worlds War on the Amiga is one of those weird, ambitious strategy games that feels like it’s trying to do a little too much—but that’s also what makes it interesting. You’re managing armies, resources, and diplomacy between two clashing civilizations, and the whole thing has this odd, almost dreamlike aesthetic with its pixel art and synth-heavy soundtrack.
At first, I had no idea what I was doing—the menus are dense, and the mechanics aren’t exactly explained. But after a few failed campaigns, it clicked. There’s something satisfying about slowly turning the tide of war, even if the AI occasionally pulls some nonsense moves. If you’re into deep, slightly janky ’90s strategy games, this one’s worth digging into.
