You control a small, green lizard creature named Whirlo, armed with a pitchfork. The goal is to navigate through side scrolling stages, clearing enemies and obstacles room by room. His main moves include stabbing foes with his weapon and using a unique wall clinging ability to scale vertical sections. The levels are filled with traps, like spikes and moving hazards, that require careful timing to avoid. The pacing is deliberate, almost methodical, rather than fast and frantic.
