Wild Gunman (U) [p1] is one of those old NES light gun games that feels like a relic from a simpler time. You stand there with your Zapper, waiting for the screen to flash "Fire!" before you can shoot the bandit—mess up the timing, and you're dead. It's tense in a weirdly minimal way.
The saloon mode is where it gets chaotic, with outlaws popping up in windows and doors. Sometimes they fake you out, making you waste shots. The graphics are basic, just pixelated cowboys and a lot of brown, but there's something satisfying about the quick-draw duels.
