Play Wizball Amiga Online
1987 action game where a wizard ball collects color droplets to restore hues. Features side-scrolling levels, upgrades, a feline companion, and co-op. Released for Amiga.

Wizball came out on the Amiga in 1987 from Ocean Software, a time when the platform was starting to show what it could really do with color and sound. It was a game that felt different from a lot of the straightforward shooters and platformers around then, built by a French studio called Image Logiciel.
You control a wizard who has transformed into a bouncing ball, rolling through abstract, side-scrolling landscapes. Your main goal is to collect color droplets to repaint a world drained to monochrome. You start with a basic shot but can find upgrades for multi-directional fire and a special cat companion, Nifta, who you can separately control to collect items you can't reach. The game demands careful exploration and patience, as you methodically cover each screen to saturate it with color before moving on. It feels like a strange, thoughtful puzzle hidden inside an arcade game's body.
