Play Wizball Online
You're a grumpy wizard-turned-bouncing-ball, rolling through gray wastelands to shoot monsters and collect paint while your cat sidekick (who you definitely don't fully control) does the actual color-gathering.

Wizball came out in 1987 for MS-DOS, developed by Sensible Software. It was one of those games that felt completely different from anything else on the platform at the time, a strange and clever mix of action and puzzle elements that didn't rely on the usual space ships or platforming heroes.
You control a wizard who has transformed himself into a ball, bouncing through a series of monochrome, polluted landscapes. Your main goal is to restore color to the world by collecting droplets of paint, which you do by shooting enemies and absorbing the pigments they release. The core mechanics involve navigating screen by screen, managing your bounces carefully to avoid hazards, and switching control to your cat companion, Nifta, who can collect paint from hard-to-reach spots. The pacing is deliberate, almost methodical; it's not a frantic shooter but a game of precision and patience. Playing it feels like solving a vibrant, dangerous puzzle with every jump and shot.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
