Play Mario & Luigi Online

Run and jump through blocky pixel worlds with Mario (or Luigi, if you don’t mind his wobbly hops), stomping Goombas and chucking fireballs like it’s a slightly glitchy NES afternoon on your dad’s old PC.

Game Overview

Mario & Luigi on MS-DOS is basically someone’s love letter to the original Super Mario Bros., but with that weird, slightly janky charm only early PC ports have. You’ve got the same running, jumping, and Goomba-stomping—Luigi’s there too if you want the taller, slightly worse-at-jumping brother along for the ride. The power-ups feel familiar: grab a mushroom and suddenly Mario’s busting through blocks, or snag a fire flower and start lobbing fireballs at Koopas like it’s 1985 again.

It’s not as smooth as the NES version—expect some pixel quirks and maybe a collision hiccup here and there—but that’s part of the appeal. This was clearly made by someone who just really wanted to play Mario on their beige box PC, and honestly? I respect that. If you’re into weird retro oddities or just miss the simplicity of running left to right and occasionally falling into a pit, it’s a neat little time capsule.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
