The main goal is to retrieve Princess Peach's stolen voice, which involves navigating through different environments, solving environmental puzzles, and engaging in battles where timing your button presses is key to dodging attacks and landing your own jumps and hammer strikes. The pacing is brisk, with a steady stream of new abilities and enemy types that keep the combat from getting stale, and the difficulty feels fair, with most challenges coming from learning attack patterns rather than grinding levels.
