Game Overview
Wonder Dog_Disk2 is one of those classic Amiga platformers that just oozes charm. You play as this weird little alien dog who can jump like he's on the moon and hurl throwing stars at enemies—because apparently that's what space dogs do. The story's ridiculous in the best way: scientists sent him to Earth as a pup to escape some evil Pitbully Armada, and now he's juiced up on "wonder serum" to fight his way back home.
The levels are bright and varied, with some sneaky hidden bonus areas if you poke around. And just when you think you've got the hang of it, boom—giant boss fight. The controls take a minute to adjust to (that floaty jump is either fun or frustrating, depending on your mood), but once it clicks, it's oddly satisfying to ricochet off walls and take out enemies mid-air. Definitely one of those games where the personality carries it.
