Worms Blast takes the usual Worms chaos and squeezes it into a weirdly addictive puzzle game. You’re floating around in a little boat, shooting colored blocks on a hex grid instead of bubbles—and yeah, you’ve got the whole Worms arsenal to do it. Bazookas, grenades, even dynamite. Hold the button to adjust your shot strength, just like in the main games, which feels oddly satisfying when you nail a tricky angle.
The goal? Match colors to clear blocks, but there’s a twist: rainbow blocks count as wildcards, and if you mess up and fire off-screen, some random heavy object drops on your boat. Classic Worms punishment. Puzzle mode mixes things up with different objectives—sometimes you’re dodging angry blocks, other times you’re carving out specific shapes.
Multiplayer’s where it gets properly chaotic. Walls between players drop at random, so one second you’re focused on your own grid, the next you’re taking potshots at your friend’s boat. It’s the kind of game where you’ll yell “wait, that’s cheating!” at least twice per match.
