WWE Survivor Series on the GBA is one of those games that just gets wrestling. The sprites are chunky, the moves are exaggerated, and yeah, the graphics are dated—but that’s part of the charm. Within minutes, you’re Irish-whipping someone into the ropes or climbing the turnbuckle for a ridiculous flying elbow drop. The roster’s stacked with early-2000s WWE stars, and pulling off their signature moves feels stupidly satisfying.
What surprised me was how much strategy sneaks in. Do you go for quick grapples, or wait to build up your finisher? And tag matches? Absolute chaos in the best way. It’s not perfect—sometimes the controls get a little janky—but if you’ve ever wanted to recreate that over-the-top WWE energy on a tiny screen, this does the job with a grin. Just don’t expect a technical masterpiece.
