WWF Superstars 2 came out for the Game Boy in 1992, published by LJN. It was one of the wrestling games you could carry around back when handhelds were still black and white. The roster included Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, and a few others, all shrunk down to fit the small screen.
You pick a wrestler and fight through a series of opponents to win the championship belt. Matches use basic punches, grapples, and signature moves, with timing playing a big role in reversing attacks. The game moves quickly, and the AI can be stubborn, especially in later matches. It feels like a stripped down but energetic take on arcade wrestling, where every win comes down to focus and a little luck.
