Play WWF Superstars 2 Online
Pick your wrestler, throw some pixelated punches, and try not to get pinned when your energy’s low—those cage matches get messy fast.

WWF Superstars 2 came out on the Game Boy in 1992, published by LJN. It was one of the many wrestling games trying to capture the sport's energy on handhelds at the time. You could pick from a roster of WWF talent, each with their own basic move sets and signature finishers, all rendered in that chunky, low-resolution style the system was known for.
You control a wrestler, moving left and right to grapple opponents, perform slams, and climb the turnbuckle for aerial attacks. The main goal is to win matches, either by pinfall, submission, or count-out, across several match types including singles, tag team, and cage matches. Signature mechanics include building up a special meter by landing attacks, which lets you unleash a powerful finishing move when it's full; you also manage a stamina bar that depletes with exertion and requires brief rest to recover. The pacing is deliberate, with matches often feeling slow and methodical rather than frantic, and the difficulty can spike sharply against certain opponents. It feels like a stripped-down, portable version of arcade wrestling, where patience and timing matter more than flash.
