Play X-Men : Reign of Apocalypse Online
Wolverine shreds through enemies while Storm zaps entire crowds—you’ll switch between X-Men mid-fight just to see their over-the-top super moves wreck everything. The levels get crazier as Apocalypse warps reality around you.

X-Men: Reign of Apocalypse came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, developed by Crawfish Interactive and published by Activision. It was one of those early GBA titles that tried to capture the feel of arcade-style beat 'em ups on a handheld, back when developers were still figuring out what the system could really do. The game draws from the animated series and comic books, pitting the X-Men against Apocalypse in an alternate reality where he's taken over.
You control a team of four X-Men, switching between them on the fly to make use of their unique powers. Wolverine slashes through enemies up close, Storm calls down lightning on groups, Cyclops fires optic blasts from a distance, and Rogue flies and punches with super strength. The goal is to fight through side-scrolling levels, defeat bosses, and stop Apocalypse's reign. Key mechanics include using special mutant abilities that drain a meter, finding health and energy pickups scattered through stages, and occasionally navigating light platforming sections. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can spike sharply during boss fights. It feels like a condensed, chaotic brawler where timing your super moves right makes all the difference.
